Hyatt Hotels are some of our favorites, and they’ve just added an incredible new brand – Hyatt Centric

The news is that these exciting new hotels will “fulfill today’s savvy travelers’ needs for an uncomplicated, cosmopolitan experience in a way that has never been done before.”

Now that we’ve been hosted by Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago – we can confirm that!

Our stay was incredible – the staff was informed, the location ideal, the rooms stylish and well-appointed, the food delectable and the experience, perfect.

The following photo diary is an account our first day in Chicago with Hyatt Centric

We’ve arrived!

Located at the northwest corner of Monroe and Clark – about a ten minute walk to Millennium Park – this Hyatt Centric is ideally located for the explorations we’re sure to begin.

We take a quick peek around our modern room, a gander at the fun city view and a nibble of a treat (Garrett Gourmet Popcorn, of course!)… Next, we’re off to see more of the beautiful 1920’s Art-Deco building that is home to Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago!

First we stop by the business area – if you must sit at a meeting while in the Windy City, the setup sure is nice! (Though, the great city view might have your mind wandering away from work and onto adventure.)

Next, we get to take a look into the one and only Presidential Suite! This 1206 square-foot space features wrap-around windows, separate living and dining rooms, and a platform king bed – all surrounded by stunningly preserved, original wooden details!

As much as we’d like to snuggle in right here… Our hosts lure us away from the Presidential Suite with the next best thing… Rooftop Cocktails!

AIRE is fabulous place to hang out, and rooftop bars are definitely our jam – we can’t believe this stunning space is right here in our hotel.

As if champagne at sunset weren’t enough, the swanky seating, cozy fire and staggeringly beautiful view make our experience absolutely perfect. Lastly, the gourmet snacks (prepared by the incredible Cochon Volant Bakery, Brasserie and Bar) and great company made our evening even better!

Those snacks we mentioned weren’t quite enough… Once you’ve had a bite of the fare prepared by Cochon Volant, you’ll be ready for more. So, we hop on the elevator and voila – dinner is served!

We’re in heaven as we take our first bites – diving into the buttery goodness that is the Escargot Magnifique Du Jour. Then, we’re on to what we now deem an absolute DON’T MISS DISH: the Croque Madame Eggrolls (really, we will never return to Chicago without stopping for a plate of these!)

After wonderful wine, charming conversation and surely too much fabulous food – we’re off to bed before we’re on to experience more of Chicago on our second day!
